General Voting Information for Montclair Residents
How and Where Do I Register to Vote?
To register to vote you must obtain and complete a voter registration form or register online.
Voter registration forms can be obtained by picking up a voter registration card at Montclair City Hall or the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters at 777 East Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino, California, or by calling (909) 387-8300 to request a registration form be mailed to you. You may also register online by visiting the Secretary of State's Voter Registration website.
If you do not know your voter registration status, visit the Secretary of State's website to find out how to check based on the County that you would need to be registered with. Make sure you update your registration by re-registering every time you move or change your name.

Update your Address
San Bernardino County voters may now use a simple Change of Address Form to update a residential or mailing addresses so long as the voter still resides in San Bernardino County. Voters may submit a photo or scanned image of the completed form by fax at (909) 387-2022 or by email to VoterRegistrations@rov.sbcounty.gov. Alternatively, the completed form may be returned by mail or in person to the Registrar of Voters.
Important notes:
- The Change of Address Form may not be used to register to vote, change a name, change a political party preference, change a residential address from one county to another, or request a mail ballot.
- This form must include the voter's signature. An electronic signature cannot be accepted at this time.

Boxes are locked, secured, and monitored by video surveillance. Ballots are retrieved by San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters (ROV) employees throughout the voting period. Contact the ROV if you have questions or concerns related to the ballot boxes or would like to know the current pick-up schedule, which may change throughout the election period. |
