On the westbound SR-60 from Country Village Road to Wineville Road, lanes have been reduced from five lanes to three lanes to allow for accelerated pavement work.

A traffic reconfiguration will be in place on SR-60 from Archibald Avenue to Euclid Avenue during the project allowing daytime work to take place behind k-rail.
The speed limit will be lowered to 55 miles per hour within the project limits. Signage is posted instructing motorists that the HOV lane will be available for all traffic, within the construction zone, during the lane closures. Construction work may cause minor vibrations and noise during construction hours. We appreciate your patience while crews work diligently to complete the project.
Motorists are advised to use State Route 91 (SR-91) and Interstate 10 (I-10) around the 60 Swarm as alternate routes to avoid delays. Local businesses are open during the project. For up to date information call the 60 Swarm hotline at 1-833-607-9276.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
SR-60 BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS
Sema Construction of Riverside, will replace three bridges along SR-60 at Pipeline Avenue, Monte Vista Avenue and Benson Avenue in San Bernardino County. The vertical clearances on these bridges are nonstandard and the structures continue to be struck by oversize vehicles, which causes significant damage. The 18- month project to replace these bridges will begin in Summer 2019, and most of the work will be completed during nighttime freeway closures.
FREEWAY SHUTDOWNS
60 Swarm project work will include multiple, full directional freeway lane and ramp closures from 10 p.m. Friday nights to 5 a.m. Monday mornings, starting in late July through mid-November 2019. The remainder of the work will be completed with lane closures through Summer 2021.
