NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. the Montclair City Council will conduct public hearings in the Council Chambers at 5111 Benito Street, Montclair, CA 91763, at which time all interested parties are invited to appear and be heard, to consider the following items:
- Second Reading – Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 24-1009 repealing the North Montclair Specific Plan and adopting the Arrow Highway Mixed-Use District Specific Plan (Case No. 2024-55)
- Second Reading – Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 24-1010 adopting the Montclair Corridors Code; amending portions of Title 11 (Zoning and Development) of the Montclair Municipal Code; repealing the Holt Boulevard Specific Plan and the Montclair Parkway Place Specific Plan; and updating the Official Zoning Map of the City of Montclair
Any additional documentation related to the above items may be reviewed at least 72 hours prior to the hearing by contacting the City Clerk’s Office by telephone at (909) 625–9416 or by email at cityclerk@cityofmontclair.org to request to be emailed digital copies of the documents; or by downloading the agenda packet for the City Council meeting posted on the City’s website at https://www.cityofmontclair.org/council-meetings/ and reviewing the documents within the agenda packet.
INVITATION TO BE HEARD: All interested persons will be given an opportunity to comment on the above-referenced items at the public hearings and any subsequent public hearings conducted related to the items. In addition, written comments may be submitted to the City Council prior to the hearing in-person at City Hall during business hours (Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) or via U.S. Mail to the attention of City Clerk’s Office, City of Montclair, P.O. Box 2308, Montclair, CA, 91763; by completing the online public comment submission form at https://www.cityofmontclair.org/public-comment/; or via email to cityclerk@cityofmontclair.org. Please reference the hearing subject and date of the hearing in any correspondence.
If you wish to challenge any of the above items in court, the challenge will be limited only to those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearings in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the public hearings as described in this notice. The City cannot be held responsible for U.S. Mail that is not received prior to the hearings.
