About the Department

The Human Services Department oversees a wide variety of activities, services and programs benefiting City residents. Human Services administers recreational programs for residents of all ages, provides professional medical services, health education, early childhood education, after-school programs, operates a variety of senior citizen programs including daily meal service, and coordinates involvement with various community groups, such as social service agencies, mental health clinics, medical liaisons and law enforcement groups.

Senior Center

The Montclair Senior Center will be closed on the following dates:
Tuesday, December 24, 2024 & Wednesday, December 25, 2024
Tuesday, December 31, 2024 & Wednesday, January 1, 2025
The Senior Center will ONLY be open from 10:30 AM -12:30 PM for the lunch program on all other dates between December 23, 2024 through January 3, 2025.
