Economic Demographics

The City of Montclair is centered at one of the strongest demographic trade areas in the Inland Empire. Montclair's dynamic 3, 5, and 10-mile trade area is positioned near the Montclair Plaza via the I-10 Freeway and Central Avenue. The ten-mile trade area is close to one million persons with a median household income of $53,089. Despite the Great Recession of the mid-2000's, Montclair's recovery has been solid with housing resales and business development underway. The densely populated trade areas bring tremendous purchasing power to Montclair.
